Job summary

Solid Point Precision Manufacturing in Muar, Johor is seeking a QC Inspector/ QC Technician & QC Clerk to join our team. This full-time role focuses on quality assurance and control across manufacturing, with responsibilities spanning incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in QC inspection, manufacturing or precision machining is an advantage.
• Able to read basic engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspections.
• Inspect precision machined parts per drawings and quality requirements.
• Perform dimensional measurements with vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Record and maintain inspection results and QC records.
• Prepare and update QC reports and related documentation.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts to the superior.
• Assist in handling quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection equipment and QC documents are maintained.
• Support the Quality Department in daily QC activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspections.
• Inspect precision machined parts according to drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform dimensional measurements using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools.
• Record and maintain inspection results and quality records.
• Prepare and update QC reports and related documentation.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts to the superior.
• Assist in handling quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection equipment and QC documents are properly maintained.
• Support the Quality Department in daily quality control activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
