Job summary

Hexamatics Servvcom Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a quality technician to perform inspections across incoming, final, and audits, and to support daily quality activities.

You will investigate customer complaints, document results, and coordinate with suppliers on corrective actions, while maintaining logs and QA records.

The role emphasizes familiarity with ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, MSA, and basic quality tools; battery tech background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a quality technician within heavy machinery assembly or manufacturing industry.
• Experience and skill in using measurement tools such as pressure gauges, dial gauges, 3D scanners, torque wrenches, etc.
• Background in quality or engineering functions, ideally with knowledge of automotive products or heavy machinery manufacturing processes.
• Experienced in conducting internal audits, including product audits and ISO 9001 Quality Management System audits.
• Quality management knowledge including containment actions and 8D analysis.
• Familiarity with basic quality tools: SPC, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA.

Responsibilities

• Perform final and necessary inspections prior to machine delivery.
• Prepare team members for product audits and execute based on sampling plans.
• Investigate customer complaints & collaborate with production to identify root causes.
• Document inspection and test results; maintain detailed logs and reports.
• Manage supplier reclamation processes and coordinate corrective actions with SQE.
• Oversee calibration management tasks including PR/PO creation and vendor arrangements.
• Quarantine defective or non-conforming parts to prevent misuse or mix-ups.
• Update Quality Management documents, procedures, and work instructions as needed.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
