Job summary

Eng Kah Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC/IPQC operator to support filling and packaging lines. You will troubleshoot quality issues and follow up until resolution, conduct IPQC buy-off before mass production, and perform routine sampling as per QC On-Line reports.

You will verify packaging visuals, weight checks, and reference sample conformity, while collecting samples for microlab testing and recording retained samples for stability tracking.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP and hygiene standards with basic sampling procedures.
• Hands-on IPQC experience or in-process QC preferred.
• Computer literacy with MS Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with filling weight calculations, visual inspection standards and sampling plans.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day online (filling and packing), trouble shoot on product quality and follow up until the issues are settled.
• Conduct IPQC Buy-off on production setups following line leader/supervisor confirmation before mass production begins
• Perform routine sampling during filling/packing operations based on criteria outlined in the Quality Control On-Line Report
• Verify visual packaging aspects, weight checks, and physical appearance against approved reference samples and Quality Control Filming Specifications (QCFS)
• Collect, label, and dispatch required samples to the microlab for micro-testing when specified in the Quality Control Check sheet
• Collect Finished Goods Retained Samples and recorded them in master lists for stability/validation tracking
• Exercise authority to hold back or stop production lines upon detection of non-conforming or suspect materials/products
• Immediately alert production supervisors and QA/QC management regarding quality deviations

About you

Candidate must possess at least SPM

At least 1 to 2 year(s) of hands-on experience in Quality Control (QC), or In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), hygiene standards, and sampling procedures

Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel

Familiarity with filling weight calculations, visual inspection standards, and sampling plans

Strong decision-making capability to hold non-conforming production lines
