Job summary

DXN International in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Inspector (Farm Quality) to perform inspections on materials, WIP and finished goods, and to indicate status and release records accordingly. You will perform laboratory sampling, ensure test reports are retained, and maintain cleanliness of retention and sampling spaces.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to work under pressure, and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience or fresh graduates with relevant academic background may be considered.
• Able to work in a team, under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on materials, WIP and finished goods according to approved procedures, sampling plans, specifications and standards.
• Indicate product status (Pass, Quarantine or Reject) after verification by the superior and release finished goods upon approval.
• Perform sampling on inspected materials, WIP and finished goods for laboratory analysis and ensure test reports are retained.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of retention/stability rooms and sampling areas; assist in document filing and recording.
• Monitor weighing verification activities and assist in equipment calibration and pest control verification according to schedule.
• Report non-conforming materials or deviations observed during inspections and coordinate with supervisor.

Job description

1. Perform quality inspections on materials, work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods according to approved procedures, sampling plans, specifications and standards.2. Ensure outgoing and in-process inspections are carried out according to specifications and work instructions.3. Indicate product status (Pass, Quarantine or Reject) after verification by the superior.4. Release finished goods upon approval of the release checklist by the authorized personnel.5. Perform sampling on inspected materials, WIP and finished goods for laboratory analysis.6. Ensure test reports are available and properly retained.7. Draw, label, record and retain finished goods retention samples.8. Assist in product sample preparation.9. Complete inspection records accurately and within the required timeline.10. Update quality related document in the forms or logbook.11. Assist in document compilation and filing.12. Monitor daily weighing verification activities.13. Assist in equipment calibration activities.14. Assist in verification of internal and external pest control activities according to schedule.15. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the retention/stability room and sampling room.16. Report non-conforming materials or any internal complaints to the superior.17. Report and highlight any process deviation or abnormality observed during in-process and outgoing inspections.
