Job summary

White Heron Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC Inspector cum Halal Executive to ensure quality and Halal compliance across production processes. The role emphasizes GMP, HACCP and ISO standards with attention to detail and independence.

The candidate will monitor inspections, assist audits, and support various QA activities in a collaborative environment within Malaysia.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Biomedicine, or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant industry experience in pharma/nutraceutical/food/cosmetic.
Independent, decisive and committed personality.
HALAL Executive program qualification is an added advantage.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor and conduct quality control inspections in production areas per GMP, ISO and HACCP requirements.
Oversee Halal certification processes and hygiene inspections of rooms, machines, tools, and utensils.
Inspect packaging and raw materials intake before and after mixing, including drying and UV treatments.
Set and monitor standard, maximum, and minimum gross unit weights for operators.
Report non-conformances for incoming materials and finished products using NCPR.
Assist with GMP, ISO, HACCP, US FDA and customer audits.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the head of QA.

Job Description

We are looking for a QC Inspector cum Halal Executive who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our production processes. This position is responsible for monitoring and conducting quality control inspections and overseeing Halal certification processes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, independent, and committed, with a strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and conduct quality control inspections in production areas according to GMP, ISO, and HACCP requirements and ensure hygiene inspections on rooms, machines, tools, and utensils.
Inspect packaging and raw materials intake in production, before and after mixing, including drying and UV treatments.
Set and monitor standard, maximum, and minimum gross unit weights for operators.
Regularly check filling weights and quantities for all pack sizes and types and conduct & perform quality inspections on semi-finished products during each process stage and finished products at the packing stage.
Report all non-conformances for incoming materials, semi-finished, and finished products using the Non-Conforming Product Report.
Assist with GMP, ISO, HACCP, US FDA, and customer audits.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the head of QA.

Qualifications
