Green Island Feed Mills is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform inspections and sampling across raw materials, in-process products, packaging, and finished feeds.
You will conduct routine tests, record results, report non-conformities, assist investigations, and coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Perform inspections and sampling of incoming raw materials, in-process products, packaging materials, and finished animal feed.
Conduct routine quality tests according to approved specifications, SOPs, and sampling plans.
Record inspection and testing results accurately and prepare relevant quality reports.
Identify, segregate, label, and report non-conforming materials or products.
Assist in investigating quality issues, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
Verify product labelling, packaging condition, batch numbers, and expiry information.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of laboratory equipment, samples, and retained samples.
Ensure measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and suitable for use.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other departments on quality matters.
Support internal audits, external audits, pest-control monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the immediate superior.
Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Animal Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of quality-control or laboratory experience is preferred.
Experience in feed milling, food manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, or laboratory operations is an advantage.
Able to use basic laboratory and measuring equipment.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to maintain accurate records.
Good communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
Able to work in a dusty, noisy, and manufacturing environment.
