Job summary

Lysaght Galvanized Steel Berhad in Ipoh, Perak is seeking a QC Inspector for a full-time on-site role to ensure the quality and safety of galvanized steel products. The successful candidate will inspect materials, carry out quality tests, and maintain thorough QC records.

We value independent workers with strong attention to detail and good communication, ready to collaborate across cross-functional teams to uphold standards and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Drafting, or Graphic Design or equivalent.
• Related working experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
• Proficiency with QC equipment and instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, WIP, and finished products for defects.
• Conduct quality tests and measurements per standards and specs.
• Maintain records of inspection results and QC data.
• Collaborate with production to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in development and improvement of QC processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Lysaght Galvanized Steel Berhad is looking for a QC Inspector in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our galvanized steel products.

Key responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify any defects or non-conformities

Conduct various quality tests and measurements to verify adherence to industry standards and customer specifications

Maintain detailed records of inspection results and quality control data

Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions

Assist in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures

Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
