Job summary

Bluespot Industries in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee QA activities for raw materials, in-process and finished products. You will ensure HACCP and GMP compliance, support line troubleshooting and maintain quality SOPs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology/Biotechnology, 1 year in the food industry, HALAL/audit experience, and proficiency in MS Office tools. Join our team to uphold product quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in food industry.
• Experience handling HALAL system, internal audits and supplier audits.
• Knowledge of GMP & HACCP.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance for raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Ensure effective implementation of HACCP, prerequisite programs and quality systems.
• Support line troubleshooting and provide feedback to manufacturing on quality aspects.
• Update relevant quality SOPs, ISO and HACCP documents.
• Liaise with certification bodies for GMP, HACCP and HALAL audits for compliance.
• Responsible for product quality sensory evaluation to meet customer expectations.
• Conduct internal audits and plant reviews to ensure effective GMP.
• Direct, supervise and motivate subordinates affecting work performance.
• Assist in maintaining environmental management program and supplier audits.
• Responsible for Production Planning.
