Job summary

Pantech Stainless & Alloy Industries Sdn Bhd, Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to uphold quality standards in steel processing. The role involves applying inspection methods, interpreting results, collecting data at key gates, and transporting samples to the laboratory for testing.

You will work with QA/QC Supervisors on daily inspection activities and support QA/QC tasks as needed. Candidates should hold science/engineering degrees with a background in material

Qualifications

• Education in Material Science or Metallurgy (STPM/SPM acceptable with science/engineering degree).
• Quality assurance/inspection experience in Oil & Gas or Steel is an advantage.
• 5+ years in Quality Controls is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvement and process orientation.
• Hardworking, team-oriented, able to multi-task.
• Strong command of English report writing and good computer literacy.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess STPM or SPM or Science/Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Material Science / Metallurgy
• Experience in quality assurance/inspection experience in Oil & Gas or Steel industry is an advantage.
• Experience in 5 years in Quality Controls will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvement and process orientation.
• Hardworking, able to Team-work and willing to be multi-tasking.
• Strong command in report writing in English Language.
• Must be computer literate.
