Job summary

PrimaBaguz, a Malaysian halal meat product manufacturer, is seeking a quality and production support role to monitor production lines and ensure compliance with food safety standards. You will work with QC and production teams, manage records of tested samples, and assist in non-conformance investigations.

The role requires flexibility to work on shifts, willingness to perform overtime, and the ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Open to SPM graduates with an interest in food manufacturing.
• Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production lines at each assigned stage.
• Collaborate with production and QC teams to ensure high quality, cost-effective, timely delivery.
• Maintain records of tested samples for easy retrieval and proper shelf-life disposal.
• Assist investigations of internal/audit non-conformances or customer complaints.
• Assist Hygiene Supervisor in housekeeping and sanitation checks.
• Assist in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices in the plant.
• Assist Executives and supervise training for new hires and interns.
• Report non-conformances related to food safety and quality systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This role is responsible in maintaining product quality by monitoring production lines, collaborating with the QC team, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities include record management of tested samples, assisting in investigations of non-conformances, and implementing Good Manufacturing Practices, while supporting training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• To monitor on each stage of production lines as assign.
• To work with production team and QC Assistant members to ensure cost effective, high quality & timely delivery of products.
• Maintain a proper record system on all tested samples for easy retrieval, avoid unintended use and disposed at correct shelf life.
• Assist in investigation on any internal/audit non-conformances or external customer complaint
• Assist Hygiene Supervisor to maintain good housekeeping in production area and perform sanitation inspection when needed.
• Assist the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices in the plant.
• To assist Executive/Sr. Executive and supervise on job training to new recruitment and internship student.
• Report any non-conformance in matter related to food safety and quality systems.
• To perform any other assigned duties from time to time.

Education

• Open to SPM graduates with a background or interest in food manufacturing.
• Candidates with a Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent will have an added advantage.

Experience

• Experience working in the food industry or manufacturing will be added advantage.

Skills

• Capable of working on shift basis / willing to perform overtime work.
• Capable of working alone and with others under stress.

Other Requirements

• Capable of working under cold temperature.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to accept advice and constructive feedback.
