Job summary

Kejuruteraan Powerwell Sdn Bhd is seeking a service technician to perform on-site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of switchboard systems to meet performance and safety standards. You will collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose issues, implement modifications, and address punchlists to meet project deadlines.

Fresh electrical graduates are welcome and experienced technicians with LV switchboard knowledge are preferred; travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering diploma or equivalent; technical competency in electrical background such as Chargeman and wireman.
• 1 year experience as a service technician, electrical technician, or similar role in the electrical industry.
• Fresh grad in electrical background is welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding on electrical switchboard components and relevant safety protocol will be added as an advantage.
• Able to work independently or as a part of team in fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Valid driving license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist service engineer in training customers and junior technicians on operation, maintenance, and punchlist rectification procedures.

Job description

Monitored and managed by the QAQC & service engineer.

Perform on site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of switchboard system to ensure they meet performance and safety standard.

Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose technical issue, implementing modifications and improvements as necessary.

Work closely with service & project engineers to address punchlist item, ensuring prompt and accurate rectification to meet project completion deadline.

Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance to identify potential problem and address them proactively.

Work with service engineer to Document all activities, including test result, modification, repairs, and punchlist rectification, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.

Collaborate with cross functionals teams to identify root causes of issues and contribute to continuous product and process improvement.

Assist Service engineer in training customers and junior technician on the operation, maintenance, and punchlist rectification procedure for switchboard system.

Others duties and task given by management from time to time.

Report to QAQC & SERVICE HOD.

Monitored and manage by the QAQC supervisor

Work with QAQC supervisor to increase the job knowledge for new technology of switchgear from time to time.

To help QAQC team on factory routine job.

Requirements:
