Job summary

Dhaya Maju Infrastructure seeks a QA/QC Lead to guide the Quality Management System across railway project sites. You will manage QA/QC activities, audits, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

Lead a team, coordinate with site QC managers, and ensure timely updates to quality records while fostering a culture of continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of site construction and railway project experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the QA manual control and supervise amendments.
• Control and distribute quality documentation for the company.
• Monitor all quality activities on the project and report findings.
• Perform internal and external audits on behalf of management.
• Ensure contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors.
• Coordinate QA / QC activities with site QC manager.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and client quality management meetings.
• Maintain project quality system documentation prior to commencement.
• Review qualification and training of QA/QC personnel.
• Monitor disposition of non-conformance reports and improvements.

Lead and manage the QA / QC team and expertise to the overall Quality Management System, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the companies QA manual control and supervise all amendments and revisions.


• Control and distribute all the company's quality documentation.


• Monitor all quality related activities on the project.


• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management.


• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentations submittals.


• Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.


• Attend client quality management meetings.


• Prepare and control the project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.


• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.


• Monitor disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.


• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.


• Coordinate all QA / QC activities with the site QC manager.


• To take reasonable care for the Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare as per the Occupational Safety & Health Act, company policy and OSH Management System

Qualification

• Minimum 5-10 years of working experience in site construction and railway project management


• Knowledge and skill in understanding engineering standard practice, good in technical and report skills


• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem solving, presentation skills, communication skills and a team player


• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu with good writing skills


• Able to lead and monitor a team of site staff


• Proficient of Microsoft Project Management programme, Microsoft Office, CAD is an advantage


• Well versed with ISO documentation & term


• Must be willing to travel and possess own transport


• Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Architecture or any other qualifications related
