Job summary

Sunway Construction Group Berhad is hiring a MEP QA/QC professional to develop and implement the QA/QC plan for the project in Johor, ensuring MEP works comply with method statements and ITPs.

The role requires reviewing drawings, coordinating with consultants, and conducting inspections to uphold quality standards across all MEP installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in MEP QA/QC roles within construction.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes and quality standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and QA/QC best practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and technical documents.
• Willing to relocate to Johor.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Ensure that all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved method statements and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions.

• Provide training and guidance to site engineers and supervisors on quality standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards and client requirements.
