Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CCCC Malaysia) is seeking a QA/QC professional to manage quality for Data Centre construction. The role covers civil/structural, architectural and M&E works with on-site responsibilities and reporting to project management.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in engineering and a minimum of 3 years QA/QC experience, with strong ability to read drawings and coordinate with consultants, clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
• Good knowledge of ITP, IR/WIR, Method Statements, Material Submittals, NCR and testing documentation.
• Able to read and understand construction and M&E drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality requirements.
• Coordinate IR/WIR, ITP, Method Statements, Material Submittals and Test Reports.
• Monitor NCRs, corrective actions and quality issues until close-out.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams on quality-related matters.
• Maintain QA/QC records and assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Prepare QA/QC reports and update management on quality issues and progress.

Job description

Manage and monitor overall QA/QC activities for Data Centre construction projects, covering QA/QC requirements for Civil/Structural, Architectural and M&E works.

Key responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality requirements

Coordinate Inspection Requests (IR/WIR), ITP, Method Statements, Material Submittals and Test Reports

Monitor and follow up on NCRs, corrective actions and quality issues until close-out

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams on quality-related matters

Maintain proper QA/QC records and assist with testing, commissioning and project handover

Prepare QA/QC reports and update management on quality issues and progress

About you

Diploma / Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction or related field

Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects

Good knowledge of ITP, IR/WIR, Method Statements, Material Submittals, NCR and testing documentation

Able to read and understand construction and M&E drawings

Good communication and coordination skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple QA/QC activities on site
