Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (M&E) for Nilai, Negeri Sembilan to implement, monitor, and improve QA/QC procedures across electrical and mechanical works. You will review ITPs, method statements, drawings and ensure on-site workmanship meets project specs.

The role requires 3–8 years of QA/QC experience in construction, with familiarity in HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related disciplines.
Familiar with QAQC procedures, ITP, method statements, material inspections, and testing & commissioning activities.
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain QAQC procedures for M&E works.
Review and verify ITPs, method statements, and quality documentation.
Conduct inspections for mechanical and electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specs and drawings.
Monitor site activities and workmanship quality.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on quality-related matters.
Prepare and maintain QAQC reports, inspection records, material approvals, and test reports.
Ensure all M&E works comply with local regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and final handover inspections.
Identify non-conformance issues and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Support project teams in achieving quality objectives and timely project completion.
