Chin Hin Group Berhad is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to uphold the quality system, perform product inspections, and liaise with authorities for tests. The role involves training staff, troubleshooting quality issues, and coordinating daily tasks for quality technicians and operators.

The ideal candidate holds a related engineering degree, at least 2 years in quality tasks, and ISO 9001/14001 audit experience or IRCA Lead Auditor certification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Chemical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 2 years of quality-related experience.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits (internal / external).
• Preferably IRCA Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001/14001.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, correlate, control and initiate all quality dept documentation & activities per quality system.
• Inspect, analyze and monitor product quality per company specs.
• Liaise with authorities to arrange testing.
• Ensure no shortage of quality dept consumables.
• Provide routine training to quality dept personnel.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting product quality.
• Assign daily tasks to quality technicians and operators.
• Optimize product recipes for quality and costing.
• Arrange new raw material testing with suppliers.
• Highlight and report testing outcomes to Quality Manager.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Chemical/Manufacturing Engineering

IRCA certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001)

Coordinate, correlate, control and initiate all quality department documentation & activities to particular in-charge according to quality system of company.

Inspect, analyze and monitor the product quality by following company specification.

Liaise with authorities to arrange for testing.

Ensure no shortage of quality department consumable items.

Give routine training to quality department personnel.

Troubleshoot problems arising during operation which will affect product quality.

Arrange daily routine job task to quality technicians and operators.

Optimize product recipe in terms of quality and costing.

Arrange new raw material testing with suppliers.

Highlight and report to quality manager on testing outcome.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Civil/Chemical/Manufacturing Engineering.

At least 2 years of experience in quality related job tasks.

Experience in ISO9001 AND 14001 internal / external audit.

Preferably acquired IRCA certified lead auditor qualification for ISO 9001 and 14001.
