Job summary

XD Power Transmission (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to oversee on-site QA/QC activities for electrical projects in Malaysia.

You will prepare QA/QC reports, oversee equipment acceptance, and manage non-conforming items while supporting the Project/Construction Manager. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in QAQC leadership, and familiarity with Malaysia’s JKR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in projects similar to the scope of the Works including 2+ years leading QAQC.
• Familiar with Malaysia’s JKR Standard Specification, Standards Code of Practice & Regulations.

Responsibilities

• On-site QA/QC for project activities.
• Prepare QAQC reports related to quality inspection, equipment acceptance, and non-conforming items.
• Responsible for installation, testing, and acceptance inspection of all electrical equipment.
• Assist Project/Construction Manager on otherTasks as needed.

Job description

Responsible for project QA and QC on site activities;

Prepare QAQC reports related to quality inspection, equipment acceptance, and non-conforming items

Responsible for the installation, testing, and acceptance inspection of all electrical equipment;

Assisting Project/Construction Manager on other tasks necessary for the Works.

Qualifications:

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering;

At least 5 years' experience in projects similar to the scope of the Works which includes at least 2 years’ experience of leading QAQC related scope of work;

Familiar with Malaysia’s JKR Standard Specification, Standards Code of Practice & Regulations.
