Job summary

Concrete Engineering Products Berhad is seeking a QC laboratory technician to manage the quality control of our materials laboratory, perform routine testing and monitor equipment to ensure accurate results. You will collect samples (sand, aggregate, pc bar), record test results daily and assist in preparing audits of the laboratory, while providing support in other areas as needed by management.

This role emphasizes meticulous data entry, proper documentation, and adherence to specifications

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a QC laboratory or materials testing environment.
• Ability to record data accurately and manage documentation.
• Familiarity with standard testing methods for concrete materials.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples and perform material tests per specifications.
• Enter test results into computer daily and maintain records.
• Support audits and ensure equipment cleanliness and calibration.

This position is responsible to manage the quality control (QC) of the laboratory by performing routine monitoring and maintenance of equipment. Perform laboratory testing, record laboratory data and help prepare the audits of the laboratory.

Duties and responsibilities

• Collect samples and perform testing for raw material (sand, aggregate and pc bar)
• Observe any defect or bad from samples bought into the lab
• Enter test results into computer daily
• Performs routine testing of all products to ensure specifications are met for example for slump test.

Other Duties

• Provide assistant as required in any other area within CEPCO
• To perform any other tasks which may be assigned by Management for time to time.

• Proper filing and documentation for checking upkeep
