Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia is seeking an Incoming Quality Technician to uphold product quality through meticulous inspection, measurement and documentation. You will use metrology tools and DWG/COC references to verify parts meet specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience in incoming QC, ability to work in cleanrooms, and shift OT as needed. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• At least with technical certificate preferred.
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Performs visual inspection to ensure all quality aspects of the job are met.
• Inspection includes materials, components, fabricated parts & assemblies.
• Receiving/incoming inspection, in-process, final inspection.
• Measures raw materials/components and/or assemblies.
• Generates detail inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.
• Checks documents for accuracy and compliance to requirements.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, travelers, specifications to generate a precise inspection report.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Interacts with team to drive quality improvements.

UCT is looking for a talented Incoming Quality Technician to join us in Malaysia!

Job Summary

Quality control Technician make sure that products meet standards of quality and safety. Responsible for using surface roughness, Hardness tester & measurement tools to check on product and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products. Must be able to use other metrology tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspection to ensure all quality aspects of the job are met exactly.
• Inspection includes but is not limited to:
• Raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts & assemblies.
• Receiving/incoming inspection, in-process, final inspection
• Measures raw materials /components and/or assemblies.
• Generates detail inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.
• Checks documents for accuracy and compliance to requirements
• Read and interpret information from engineering drawings, travelers, specifications, and other documents to generate a complete and precise inspection report/record.
• Requires ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attain positive results and communication through team effort.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills, strong attention to detail.
• Able to interpret the basic DWG & COC/COT requirement.
• Drive suppliers on SCAR/8D and follow up on closure timely manner.
• Coordinate MRB (@IQC) for non-compliance materials
• Quarantine / purge for non-compliance materials
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software
• Must be computer literate!
• Basic math abilities
• Knowledge in SAP is advantages.
• Must be able to read and apply production instructions, drawings, and specifications in a proficient level
• Proficiency using hand held tools (micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator, profile projector, surface roughness. Hardness tester (HRB,HRC & HRV) and other measuring and test equipment.
• Good in problem solving to drive suppliers for improvement and know how on 8D/CAPA/SCAR able to validate SCAR.
• Basic knowledge on GD&T is an advantage.
• Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 knowledges
• Able to interpret the basic DWG & COC/COT requirement, deeper knowledge in chemical & mechanical properties analyses is an advantage.

Educational/Certification Requirement

• At least with technical certificate preferred.
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent

Experience Requirement

• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in incoming quality control and know how LAR & AQL requirement.
• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes.
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required

Work Experience

• 5 years working experience in incoming quality control & machine shop / assembly clean rooms/ Semi-Conductor and/or machining and wet process industry.
