Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) promptly and evaluate parts against factory standards.

You will guide the inspection team to inspect outgoing products on time, keep quality records updated, analyze results with basic statistics, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) promptly.
• Evaluate if parts meet factory standards and help Quality Engineers write clear inspection guidelines.
• Guide the inspection team to inspect outgoing products on time and follow proper procedures.
• Keep all quality records updated, use basic statistics to analyze results, and help maintain the statistical process control (ESPC) system.
• Fast-track any suspicious or defective parts to the Quality Engineer and help isolate them to prevent bad shipments.
• Make inspection processes faster, smarter, and less wasteful.
• Routinely self-check work to make sure team processes follow ISO and company standards.
• Assist with evaluating new materials, machine upgrades, or line changes to ensure product quality stays high.
• Act as the point person for questions or issues regarding parts, inspections, and customer complaints across departments.
• Train OQC operators on quality standards, safety rules, and environmental guidelines.
• Assist Quality Engineers and Managers with extra quality assurance projects as needed.
• Ensure all daily quality work strictly follows ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 (Environment & Safety) standards.
