Job summary

WYNNTECH STAR SDN BHD, established in 2015, is seeking a Quality Control & Inspection executive for its Klang/Kapar seafood processing facility. You will conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods, monitor processing steps, and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specs.

Responsibilities include implementing QA/QC systems, maintaining HACCP/GMP/SSOP compliance, preparing reports and records, handling non-conformances, and supporting

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of QA/QC in seafood processing or food manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety management systems.
• Knowledge of Halal certification requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
• Monitor tiger prawn processing, grading, weighing, packing, labelling, and storage activities.
• Ensure products comply with established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Identify, investigate, and report product defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
• Ensure proper handling, storage temperature, and traceability of products.
• Assist in maintaining Halal certification requirements, where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC inspection reports, checklists, and monitoring records.
• Review and update SOPs, work instructions, and quality control procedures.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and ready for audits.
• Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and quality deviations.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
