Job summary

Harmony Marine Products seeks a Quality Assurance Auditor to lead and execute internal audits, ensure HACCP and GMP systems are maintained, and ensure adherence to food safety procedures. The role involves documenting results, training staff, and coordinating with production to resolve quality issues.

Strong focus on CCPs and 5S in production areas. The successful candidate will conduct inspections, manage corrective actions, and report findings to management, helping ensure regulatory

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
  • Manage, control, and monitor HACCP and GMP systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all procedures in the Quality Manual, especially regarding CCP.
  • Ensure the factory team follows the food safety system through patrols and audit programs to produce consistent goods, regulatory-compliant products, and meet customer expectations.
  • Document all inspection results according to established procedures.
  • Conduct training, introduce new methods and procedures to enhance company development.
  • Generate, maintain, and update all related documents and specifications.
  • Liaise with the production team for product quality issues and maintain good housekeeping standards in the production area.
  • Act as an Internal Lead Auditor to complete the review of the food safety system, involving more than just a GMP inspection of the facility.
  • Prepare and evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions (CAR and NC).
  • Determine methods to resolve any issues that arise; investigate customer complaints and nonconformance issues.
  • Report to management about audit results and recommend changes in operations.
  • Conduct a discussion on audit findings, propose constructive recommendations, and follow up with audits to monitor countermeasure actions.
  • Ensure all GMP, hygiene, and 5S practices are enforced and implemented in the production area.
  • Perform the collection and sampling of raw materials, water, packaging materials, in-process, and finished product samples for microbiological tests as per the Quality Plan and as required for special studies.
