Job summary

TFW ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to oversee product quality from development through packaging, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

You will lead inspections, coordinate testing, document results, and drive continuous improvements with cross-functional teams. The role requires hands-on testing, MDR submissions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety in production areas.

Qualifications

• High school/ Diploma/ Engineering Diploma or equivalent, along with On-Job-Training
• Cerification in quality control/ inspector is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented, to spot and monitor the issues that do not meet compliance.
• Work knowledge of a product development and manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Excellent organization and time-management.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possess strong observation skills and capable problem-solvers.
• Ability to live in remote and harsh environments

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate inspections from materials to finished goods to ensure conformance to project specs.
• Identify and resolve quality issues in products and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement long-term quality improvements.
• Review materials quality and production procedures for compliance.
• Document inspection records and MDR submissions on time.
• Read drawings, plans and specifications to understand requirements.
• Monitor testing methods and develop new ones when necessary.
