Job summary

Insut (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the quality team on the production floor and ensure adherence to SOPs, WI, and the quality management system. You will inspect incoming materials and finished goods, perform analysis and certify results, and drive corrective actions when issues arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and databases.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; plastics/Injection molding experience a plus.
• Ability to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality team to ensure SOPs and WI align with quality management system requirements.
• Oversee quality on the production floor and ensure compliance with quality processes.
• Perform incoming material and finished goods inspections; certify analyses and monitor control plans.
• Investigate quality issues with root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead formal and informal problem-solving in quality, scrap, process capability, and warranty under supervision.
• Develop and implement new product quality management, preventive and corrective actions.
• Ensure supplier quality, feedback on supplier improvements, and track effectiveness of actions.
• Support ISO/Audit activities and related documentation.
