Job summary

Laras Jaya Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to oversee site QA/QC activities on civil and structural works in Malaysia. The role requires hands-on inspection, documentation, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will implement QA/QC procedures aligned with ISO 9001, read and interpret drawings, prepare inspection reports, and coordinate with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and ISO 9001.
• Able to read drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• At least 3 years related field experience in civil and structural construction works.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and materials.
• Ensure work follows drawings and specifications.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality documents.
• Monitor testing and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and site teams.
• Ensure project quality requirements are met.
