Job summary

China Construction Yangtze River (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent QA/QC Documentation Specialist to manage all project quality records in our Malaysia civil and infrastructure sites. You will ensure proper filing, revision control, and traceability across civil, structural, architectural and M&E works.

The role requires 2–4 years in QAQC document control, familiarity with CIDB/JKR standards, strong MS Office and English writing skills, and the ability to coordinate with engineers,

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in construction QAQC document control.
• Familiar with CIDB, JKR specs, QLASSIC and ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of document workflow: submissions, filing, test reports.
• MS Office proficiency including Word/Excel; PDF editing and cloud storage.
• Strong written and spoken English for official submissions.
• Detail-oriented, systematic, and able to handle high volumes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of QAQC project documentation for civil, structural, architectural and M&E works, including filing, indexing, revision control and retention.
• Prepare, compile, submit and track quality documents: submittals, ITPs, Method Statements, checklists, test reports, NCRs, CAPA and site records.
• Control drawings, as-built drawings, technical circulars and project correspondence with version control and traceability.
• Coordinate with site QA/QC team, engineers, subcontractors, clients and consultants for submissions and approvals.
• Organize and file all quality documents, lab tests, concrete cube tests, steel inspection reports and finishing records.
• Maintain document database, update logs, ensure completeness for CIDB/JKR audits.
• Assist in monthly quality reports, progress documentation, and QLASSIC support.
• Prepare documentation for interim payments, final completion and handover.
• Support internal and external quality audits with zero missing documents during inspections.
