HL ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated QAQC Engineer in Sepang, Selangor. The role focuses on implementing robust quality assurance and control across our construction projects to meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

The candidate will conduct site inspections, oversee materials testing, and develop quality plans while maintaining thorough documentation and reports for handover and compliance. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of QAQC experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and local Malaysian codes.
• Proficient in quality testing procedures and materials inspection.
• Familiar with contracts, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency in quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork across sites.
• Problem-solving and proactive issue resolution.
• Competent with quality management software and MS Office.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of works, materials, and workmanship.
• Perform materials testing including concrete and steel inspections.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans for projects.
• Document and report quality findings, non-conformances, and actions.
• Identify defects and coordinate timely corrections with site teams.
• Monitor site safety practices and adherence to regulations.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain quality records and reports for handover and compliance.
• Attend site meetings and provide quality status updates.
• Support continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives.
