Job summary

Green Arck Precast Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure workmanship, materials, and deliverables meet approved drawings, specs, contract requirements, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The role involves monitoring subcontractors to uphold QA/QC practices, preparing documents, and coordinating with clients/consultants during inspections and handovers. Diploma or degree in construction/QC and 3–8 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in construction, QA/QC or related disciplines.
• 3–8 years of project QA/QC experience in building construction.
• Experience with precast concrete construction is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction quality standards, method statements, ITPs and inspection procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and report-writing abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sub-contractors/workers to follow QA/QC practices.
• Troubleshoot site quality problems and support schedule.
• Prepare and maintain all QA/QC documentation.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare QA/QC reports.
• Assist client/consultant during inspection and handover of works.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring the QA/QC applications to the Precast Concrete Construction activities, workmanship, materials, and project deliverables comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Monitor sub-contractors / workers to execute work according to the QA/QC practices

Monitor and trouble shoot site quality problems and work toward meeting schedule

Monitor & prepare all documentation related to the project QA/QC

Attend progress meetings and prepare QA/QC reports

Work closely with client/consultant to inspect and handover completed works

About you

Diploma / bachelor's degree in construction disciplines or in QA/QC related disciplines

3-8 years of project QA/QC experience in building construction projects

Experience with Precast Concrete Construction projects is advantageous

Knowledge of construction quality standards, method statements, ITPs, and inspection procedures

Experience handling material inspections, precast concrete and concrete finishes

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and report-writing abilities

Ability to work independently at project sites

Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (advantageous)
