Job summary

HAVI Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QIP Clerk in Malaysia to ensure incoming product quality and proper documentation. You will log data, prepare QAR forms, and communicate non-conformances to the QA Supervisor, while also performing random truck cleanliness checks.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in food safety, quality assurance, or warehousing, with a Certified Food Handler and HACCP familiarity. Good MS Office skills and bilingual communication are desired.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Food Science/Technology, Warehousing or related.
• 2–3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance or warehousing.
• Certified Food Handler.
• Trained in Food Safety and Quality standards (HACCP).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform QIP checks on all received products and record data in QIP Log.
• Prepare QAR forms for receiving.
• Compile information on non-conforming deliveries and report to QA Supervisor.
• Randomly inspect outgoing trucks for cleanliness (truck, blanket, bulkhead).
• Assist team leader to place/remove hold tags on bulk products and segregate holds.

Job description

Ensure that all incoming products comply with customer requirement via QIP checks. Highlight to supervisor if deviation found for disposition of the product. Keep QIP Log up to date and ensure that damaged products are inspected and segregated.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing QIP check on all products received. Key receiving data into QIP Log and scan receiving documents.
• Prepare appropriate QAR forms for receiving.
• Responsible to compile info of non-conforming deliveries or rejections and communicate to QA Supervisor
• Random checking of out-going trucks for truck, blanket, and bulkhead cleanliness.
• Assist team leader in placing or removing hold tag on bulk products (e.g. SSL, end of promo). Ensure all hold products are placed at segregated area with hold tag and arranged tidily.

Skills:

• Good communication in dealing with both internal and external parties.
• Good communication skill both in Bahasa Malaysia and English (oral and written)

• Min 2-3 years experiences in food safety, quality assurance, warehousing.
• Certified Food Handler
• Trained in Food Safety and Quality standard, at least HACCP
