Job summary

Farm Fresh Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QA Analyst to conduct microbiological testing daily samples using standard methods, including pasteurized and raw milk, yogurts, and raw materials, and to perform weekly hygiene hand swab tests with monthly equipment swabs.

You will manage lab records, report results to the QA Manager, assist with external laboratory verifications, maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration and maintenance, and contribute to shelf-life studies and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily microbiological testing on samples (pasteurized milk, pre-pasteurized milk, raw milk, raw materials, last rinse water, yogurts) using FDA BAM methods.
• Conduct environmental monitoring for each production line following the FSSC 2200 manual.
• Carry out hygiene tests including weekly hand-swab tests and monthly equipment-swab tests.
• Produce shelf-life study reports for pasteurized milk to support product quality.
• Verify and report CI with external laboratories for annual CA and other certificates of analysis.
• Support QA Manager with sourcing lab equipment and maintaining cleanliness, sanitization and sterilization of all lab areas.
• Maintain all laboratory records and report results to QA Manager, including trend analysis reports.
• Provide support to QA and R&D executives as required and ensure accurate data interpretation.

Job description

Responsible for microbiological testing daily samples by using FDA BAM methods including pasteurized milk, pre-pasteurized milk, raw milk, raw material, last rinse water, and yogurts product.

Responsible to conduct an environmental monitoring program for each production line by following the FSSC 2200 manual.

Responsible to conduct hygiene test includes hand swab test for general workers (weekly) and equipment swab test for each production line (monthly).

Conduct and report shelf-life study for pasteurized milk to maintain the quality of products towards the end of shelf-life.

Responsible to manage and verify the report received from external laboratory for yearly verification including the certificate of analysis.

Responsible for yearly verification from external laboratory and to conduct maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of laboratory equipment.

Assist QA Manager in sourcing laboratory equipment with suppliers and propose to QA Manager.

Responsible in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitize and sterilize equipment and work area.

Responsible for maintaining all laboratory records and reporting all the results and activities to QA Manager including the trend analysis report.

Support QA and R&D Executive when necessary and as required.

Producing accurate and reliable data and interpret results.
