Job summary

Bubbles O2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Laboratory Assistant (Microbial Analysis) to perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products, and water samples. You will prepare media, conduct culturing, and record results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory consumables required for testing.
• Conduct sample preparation, microbial culturing, incubation, and colony counting.
• Record, compile, and maintain laboratory data and test results accurately.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated, cleaned, and maintained in good working condition.
• Assist in investigating out-of-specification (OOS) or abnormal microbiological results.
• Follow laboratory SOPs, quality procedures, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, housekeeping, and biosafety requirements.
• Assist during internal and external audits when required.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
