Job summary

QA Manager – Customer & Compliance at the Senai, Johor manufacturing site is sought to lead customer quality, regulatory and environmental requirements. You will manage audits, change controls, CAPA, and investigations while liaising with China counterparts to ensure continuous quality improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in quality assurance within high-volume manufacturing, fluent English and Mandarin, and strong analytical and communication skills. Based at Senai, Johor.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or customer-facing quality roles.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in quality problem-solving tools, data analysis, planning, and decision-making.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with Mandarin required for liaison with China counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain customer quality, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Manage customer audits, questionnaires, change controls, validation, mock recalls, and traceability.
• Act as the key contact for customer technical inquiries, complaints, audits, and visits.
• Lead customer complaint investigations and coordinate CAPA with R&D, Quality, Engineering and Production teams.
• Coordinate customer sample submissions, product evaluations, and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Support packaging and artwork development, evaluation, and approval.
• Ensure packaging material suppliers and changes meet customer requirements through proper validation and change control.
• Review quality data before shipment submission and have the authority to hold shipment when quality or documentation issues are identified.
• Contribute to quality and process improvement projects and maintain relevant work instructions.
