Job summary

DES Electronics is seeking a QA/QMS specialist to manage quality controls and document systems in a manufacturing setting in Kedah, Malaysia. You will drive corrective actions, maintain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance, and coordinate audits with Production and QA teams.

Responsibilities include establishing customer sample limits, reviewing QMS/EHS documentation, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across internal processes and supplier quality programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality management systems and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards is preferred.
• Experience in internal audits and CAPA processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deal with Production Supervisor and staff on routine quality issues to seek remedial and root cause corrective actions.
• Oversee document controls of the QMS and Environmental, Health and Safety management system.
• Establish limit samples for customer approval during sample runs and provide inspection specifications as references to Production and QA.
• Review ISO 9001/IATF 16949 requirements regularly and propose/implement quality improvements.
• Compile yearly management review and plan for internal audits.
• Develop and implement Quality Control programs and carry out vendor quality assurance to improve vendor performance.
• Daily monitoring of QMS activities to ensure systems are organized and implemented.
• Oversee Corrective Action and Preventive Action.

• Deal with Production Supervisor and other staff on routine quality issues to seek remedial and root cause corrective actions.
• Responsible to oversee on document controls of the quality management system and Environmental, Health and Safety management system.
• Establish limit samples for customer’s approval during sample run and provide inspection specifications as references to both Production and QA where necessary.
• Review regularly the established in- house ISO 9001/IATF 16949 requirements, Propose and implement quality improvement programmes.
• To compile yearly management review of the company and plan for internal audit.
• Develop and implement Quality Control Company, carry out vendor quality assurance programmes to enhance vendor performance.
• Daily monitoring the QMS activity until the systems well organize and implement.
• To oversee Corrective Action and Preventive Action.
