Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA Intern (Software Tester) for a 6-month internship in Bangsar South, KL. The role focuses on manual testing, working closely with QA and development teams to gain hands-on experience testing real software products.

This internship offers mentorship, exposure to real-world QA tools, and practical testing workflows. Suitable for students or recent graduates pursuing a CS/IT-related degree, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Basic SQL for data validation.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Familiarity with bug tracking/Test management tools like Jira and TestRail.
Pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute manual test cases to verify software functionality against requirements.
Identify, document, and track bugs/defects through to resolution.
Assist in writing and maintaining test cases and test plans.
Perform basic data validation using SQL queries.
Support API-level functional testing using tools such as Postman.
Log and manage issues using bug tracking/test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail).
Collaborate with QA leads and developers to understand features under test.
