Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA intern (Software Tester) to join our Quality Assurance team for a 6‑month internship. The role focuses on manual testing, data validation with SQL, and API testing support using Postman, Jira, and TestRail.

You will gain hands-on experience testing real software products, working closely with QA and development teams, and contributing to test plans and case execution. Location: Bangsar South, KL.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases to verify software functionality against requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
• Assist in writing and maintaining test cases and test plans.
• Perform basic data validation using SQL queries.
• Support API-level testing with Postman.
• Log and manage issues using Jira/TestRail.
• Collaborate with QA leads and developers to understand features under test.
