Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to uphold GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 across a food manufacturing operation. The role focuses on documentation control, internal audits, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The candidate will coordinate external audits, monitor hygiene and sanitation, and support staff training on food safety practices. Kota Damansara area with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's in Food Science, Technology, Biotechnology, QA or related field.
• 2–3 years QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 implementation experience.
• Familiar with food safety regulatory requirements.
• Experience in internal audits, documentation control, and CAPA management.
• Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work in Kota Damansara.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare, update, and control QA documents, SOPs, records, and controlled forms.
• Conduct daily check on reports including incoming raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Perform internal audits, identify gaps, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate and support external audits by certification bodies and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and factory cleaning activities per food safety requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with documented procedures and food safety policies.
• Assist in food safety training, GMP awareness, and food handler training programs for staff and workers.
• Prepare QA-related reports, audit summaries, and management review inputs.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by superior or management from time to time.

• Familiar with food safety regulatory requirements.
• Experience in internal audits, documentation control, and corrective action management.
• Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work in Kota Damansara.
