Job summary

BW YEE SENG Steel Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a quality assurance professional to establish and maintain product requirements, inspection criteria and testing procedures for Colour Coil products. You will monitor manpower, inspection, testing and production processes to ensure quality and consistency while managing non-conformance issues with corrective actions.

• Ability to monitor manpower, inspection, testing and production processes to ensure quality.
• Experience handling non-conformance issues including investigation and corrective action.
• Experience handling customer complaints and internal quality issues with root cause analysis.

• Establish and maintain product requirements, inspection criteria, and testing procedures.
• Monitor and control manpower, inspection, testing, and production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Manage non-conformance issues, including investigation, corrective action, and proper disposition.
• Handle customer complaints and internal quality issues, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings and develop and establish appropriate Quality Plans (QP).
• Provide technical support for Product Certification (PC), PPS, and the preparation and formatting of Load and Compression Test requirements and results.
• Maintain and update the company certification and licensing master list, ensuring timely renewal and proper documentation.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing equipment setup and production processes, where required.
• Conduct product and process tests, experiments, technical analysis, and problem-solving activities.
• Analyze issues related to components, raw materials, finished products, processes, and systems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Drive process improvement and quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve production efficiency.
• Participate in the company's Environmental, Safety & Health Management System and support compliance with relevant requirements.
• Perform other quality-related duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
