Job summary

HKSM Sports Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA Engineer to uphold product quality across production operations. You will drive continuous improvements, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor, control, and improve quality throughout manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–5 years of working experience in a similar field/position.
• Lean manufacturing experience with problem-solving tools (Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone).

Responsibilities

• Check product quality: carry out inspections during and after production and support checks on incoming materials.
• Handle internal quality issues or customer complaints and close them out quickly and properly.
• Review, maintain and ensure production-related documentation is proper and effective.
• Review and approve First Article Samples prior to production.
• Support audits: prepare for and participate in internal and customer audits.
• Support incoming quality issues, material nonconformances, and escalations related to incoming materials or components.
• Handle MBR and non-conforming products and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support supplier audits, assessments, and qualification activities as required.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, Process Work Instructions, inspection checklists and sampling plans.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and familiarity with quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
