Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a quality engineer to prepare and complete FAI reports and support First Article inspections. You will develop and analyze permanent solutions during product or project implementation and create CMM inspection programs as needed.

Responsibilities also include reviewing DFMs, PFMEAs, and process capability studies, generating control plans and FMEAs, and ensuring timely FAIR preparation for customer approval. Experience with Mitutoyo CMM systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with First Article, DFM, FMEA, and Failure Analysis in product and process improvement.
• Exposure to FAI and CMM inspection context preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T).

Prepare and complete FAI reports in accordance with customer and company requirements.

Develop, analyze, and record permanent solution for any problem encountered during or product or project implementation.

Create, edit, and operate CMM inspection programs where required.

Enable to drive and support project team to ensure timely implementation of First Article project prior to mass production run.

Review DFM, PFMEA, process capability study, stack up tolerance study for product design and requirement.

Generate Control Plans (CP) and conduct Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)

Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for customer approval

Job Requirement :

• Experience in handling of First Article, DFM, FMEA, Failure Analysis in product and troubleshooting in process improvement
• Experience in FAI and CMM Mitutoyo is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments and dimensional inspection techniques.
