AimBig Employment Pty Ltd is partnering with a global technology and advanced manufacturing provider to recruit an Automation Tester in Putrajaya. You will design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for web-based applications, collaborating with developers to identify risks and improvements early.

You’ll build automation frameworks with Playwright, perform API and SQL validation, support CI/CD, and assist migration of legacy systems to .NET in an Agile, hybrid environment with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar test automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman and validating backend integrations.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing principles.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Basic programming or scripting in C# and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify risks and improvements early.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Perform API and database testing to validate integrations and data.
• Investigate defects and drive root cause analysis with teams.
• Conduct UI, cross-browser, and end-to-end testing.
• Support CI/CD testing and monitor automated results for releases.
