Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites a QC/QA professional to assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, ensuring accurate inspection records for materials and finished products. You will update QA/QC records, support GMP/HACCP/Halal systems, and keep records audit-ready.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Food Science/Technology and at least 1 year of Halal experience, with the ability to work independently under supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Food Technology, or Food Science.
• At least 1 year working experience on Halal matters.
• Halal Executive certificate issued by HPB (Halal Professional Board) or JAKIM-recognized provider.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing, maintaining, and improving quality control procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Prepare, review, and update inspection records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Perform daily QC administrative activities, including issuing QC Pass stickers for approved materials and products.
• Verify, maintain, and update QA/QC records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Update QC inspection data for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products in the QMS.
• Support Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal Assurance System and other certification requirements.
• Ensure quality records are complete, maintained, and audit-ready.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior.

Prepare, review, and update inspection records, including raw material, packaging material, and finished product inspection forms, labels, and packaging documentation.

Perform daily QC administrative activities, including issuing QC Pass stickers for approved raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.

Verify, maintain, and update QA/QC records, forms, and quality documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Update and maintain QC inspection data for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products in the quality management system.

Support Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal Assurance System and other certification requirements.

Ensure all quality records are completed accurately, maintained systematically, and readily available for audits.

Perform any other duties assigned by the superior in line with operational requirements.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Service, Food Technology, Food Science.

At least1 year and above working experienceon Halal matters.

Possess Halal Executive certificateissued by recognized Halal Training Provider by HPB (Halal Professional Board) by JAKIM.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision
