Job summary

SFP Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a senior supply chain leader to own end-to-end planning, sourcing, procurement, production scheduling, inventory control, logistics, and distribution, aligning with business goals to deliver cost efficiency and reliable performance.

You will drive strategic initiatives, manage supplier relationships, optimize stock levels, coordinate with production, lead cross-functional teams, and establish KPIs to measure and continuously improve supply chain

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of working experience in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, production, and distribution.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of materials and services.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
• Production Planning: Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely manufacturing schedules and efficient use of resources.
• Logistics and Distribution: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as alternative sourcing or contingency plans.
• Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of the supply chain and identify areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives
