Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in direct and indirect sourcing with end-to-end procurement knowledge.
• Experience in sourcing electrical/electronic components or suppliers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conferring with suppliers to obtain prices, specifications, and product details.
• Negotiating prices, contracts, and delivery terms to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers for direct and indirect materials/services for best value.
• Maintaining purchasing records and supplier data in SAP.
• Coordinating with user departments and suppliers for project-related buying.
• Providing quotations for tenders and proposals.
• Ensuring on-time delivery with suppliers.
• Issuing purchase orders aligned with technical specs and requirements.
• Identifying and sourcing new parts, suppliers, or subcontractors.

Job description

Conferring with suppliers to obtain prices, specifications, and product details.

Negotiating prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.

Sourcing and Evaluating potential suppliers for both direct and indirect materials/services for best package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services.

Maintaining complete and updated purchasing records, supplier data, and pricing in SAP system.

Coordinating with user departments and suppliers for project-related purchasing scope.

Supporting relevant departments with quotations for tenders and proposals.

Coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Issuing purchase orders in accordance with technical specifications and requirements.

Identifying and sourcing new parts, suppliers, or subcontractors when required.

What We're Looking For

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.

Proven experience in direct and indirect sourcing, with strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes.

Experience in sourcing electrical/electronic components or suppliers is an added advantage.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term supplier relationships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
