UIS Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager / Procurement Team Lead to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships and lead the purchasing team to achieve quality, cost and delivery objectives.

You will source local and overseas suppliers, conduct RFQ evaluations, negotiate prices and drive cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with Planning, Production, Engineering, QA and Finance to support operational requirements and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferably at least 2 years in a senior, supervisory or team-lead capacity.
• Candidates from precision engineering, CNC machining, semiconductor equipment, automation, metal fabrication or related manufacturing industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong hands-on experience in supplier sourcing, RFQ, commercial negotiation and cost reduction.
• Proven ability to develop and qualify new suppliers.
• Good understanding of supplier Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) management.
• Experience handling production-critical material shortages and supply-chain risks.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good Excel competency; ERP/MRP experience will be an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Procurement Manager/Procurement Team Lead to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships and lead the purchasing team in achieving quality, cost and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall procurement and strategic sourcing activities to support manufacturing operations.

Source, evaluate and develop local and overseas suppliers to ensure competitive cost, quality and delivery.

Lead RFQ, quotation evaluation, price negotiation and supplier selection.

Drive cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives through negotiation, benchmarking and alternative sourcing.

Monitor and improve supplier Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) performance.

Job Requirements
