Job summary

GOODNITE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced purchasing professional to manage procurement of local raw, direct, and packaging materials. The role focuses on supplier development, cost control, and timely PO processing to support production needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field, familiarity with SQL/ERP, and knowledge of import/export and SST exemptions. Manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Familiar with SQL/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of import/export, customs clearance, and SST exemption.
• Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for local raw materials, direct materials, and packaging materials.
• Source, develop, and evaluate local suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to support business and operational needs.
• Handle supplier quality issues, claims, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Coordinate local purchasing activities and ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Process and manage Purchase Orders (PO) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate material supply to ensure production requirements are fulfilled.
• Identify and implement cost-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare and submit monthly purchasing performance reports.
• Maintain proper purchasing documentation and records.
• Support ISO, customer, and internal audits by providing the required purchasing information and records.
