Job summary

GOODNITE SDN. BHD. is seeking a results-driven Retail Manager to lead outlet teams, drive annual sales targets, and optimize performance across categories.

You will coach staff, manage inventory, and implement effective promotions to boost revenue and profitability. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or Marketing, with at least 3 years of retail management experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Sales-driven with a focus on targets and business results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management systems with strong communication and coaching skills.
• Good understanding of retail KPIs, sales performance and financial indicators.
• Positive leadership, accountability, customer focus and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets by driving sustainable sales growth through effective planning, monitoring daily sales performance and taking corrective actions when needed.
• Drive sales growth by maximizing opportunities, balancing category performance, and promoting cross-selling.
• Optimize sales performance through data analysis, strategic action plans, and regular reviews to drive productivity and profitability.
• Execute effective sales campaigns and promotions to maximize outlet participation, revenue growth, and market opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and motivate outlet teams to achieve business goals while fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by ensuring service excellence, resolving issues effectively, driving customer loyalty, and leveraging insights to improve products and services.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor trends, identify business opportunities, and recommend strategies to drive traffic and sales growth.
• Ensure effective inventory control through accurate stock management, replenishment planning, stock optimization, and loss prevention initiatives.
• Ensure efficient outlet operations through SOP compliance, effective resource management, strong visual standards, and initiatives to improve profitability and operational excellence.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management systems, with strong communication and coaching skills.

Demonstrates positive leadership, strong accountability, customer focus, and sound business acumen with a commercial mindset.

Experience in furniture, mattress, home furnishing, cabinetry, or related retail industries will be an added advantage.
