Job summary

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Identifying and sourcing suppliers and vendors for required materials, products and services
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve best value for money
• Managing supplier relationships and maintaining open communication channels to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
• Monitoring and tracking orders through to receipt and delivery, resolving any discrepancies or delays
• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Comparing quotes from multiple suppliers and making recommendations based on cost, quality and reliability
• Co-ordinating with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and timelines
• Contributing to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and anticipating future purchasing needs
• Ensuring adherence to procurement procedures and company purchasing policies at all times

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degreein Chemistry background or equivalent.
• Working experience in dealing with Order, Purchase Order, Invoices or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in any relevant purchase software and etc.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
