Job summary

WE M&E SDN BHD is seeking a procurement professional in Malaysia to Source and procure M&E materials, equipment and subcontractor services. You will prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders based on approved requisitions and technical specs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will also manage office stock levels, analyze project costs to negotiate favorable pricing and terms, and coordinate with site engineers and suppliers for timely delivery to avoid delays.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure M&E materials, equipment and subcontractor services.
• Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on project requisitions and specs.
• Maintain optimal office stock levels and inventory.
• Analyze project bills to negotiate pricing and terms.
• Coordinate with site engineers and suppliers for just-in-time delivery.

Job description

Core Mission: Source and procure M&E materials, equipment and specialized subcontractor services.

Order Execution: Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately based on approved project requisitions and technical specifications.

Stock Management: Maintain optimal office stock levels and inventory

Cost Control: Analyze all projects bills of quantities (BQ) to negotiate highly competitive pricing and commercial terms.

Timeline Management: Coordinate with site engineers and suppliers to guarantee just-in-time delivery of critical equipment, preventing project delays.
