Job summary

M.E.T. Motion (Seremban) is seeking a Pump & Control Panel Technician (Field Service) to install, test, and commission water pump systems and electrical control panels at customer sites across Negeri Sembilan.

This hands-on role focuses on on-site work and field service. You will carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and assist with pump alignment, seal replacement, and basic wiring checks.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical fields is a plus.
• Experience with pumps, motors, or control panels is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and perform hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission water pump systems and electrical control panels on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot pump and electrical faults.
• Assist in pump alignment, seal replacement, and basic wiring checks.
• Travel to client sites across Negeri Sembilan for service calls.
• Document site visit reports and testing results.
• Collaborate with office team to ensure quick customer service turnaround.

Pump & Control Panel Technician (Field Service)

M.E.T. Motion (Seremban) is a newly established branch specializing in industrial and residential water pump systems, valves, and electrical control panels. This is a hands-on Technician role focused on on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of water pump systems and electrical control panels across Negeri Sembilan.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) of water pump systems and electrical control panels
• Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for pump breakdowns (mechanical and electrical faults)
• Support pump alignment, mechanical seal replacement, and basic control panel wiring checks
• Travel to client sites across Negeri Sembilan (factories, apartments, commercial buildings) for service calls
• Assist in documenting site visit reports and testing results
• Work closely with the office team to ensure fast turnaround on customer service requests

About you

• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems (certificate/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field is a plus)
• Experience with pumps, motors, or control panels is an advantage, but not compulsory
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and traveling to different sites
• Valid driving license (own transport preferred)
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• On-the-job technical training and mentorship
