Job summary

Hong Leong Bank seeks a detail oriented Trade Services Protege to join the Wholesale Credit Operations team in PJ City Trade Services Centre, Selangor. The role reports to the Line Manager and is based in Selangor.

The candidate will handle document intake, validation and processing of trade transactions, with an emphasis on data accuracy and timely payments. Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of related experience are welcome, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in a relevant discipline with CGPA 3.0 or higher.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of related experience; training provided for non-experienced candidates.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) and PC literate with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work effectively with diverse teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Record receipt of documents into the appropriate registers.
• Acknowledge and process trade service requests from customers/branches/other units.
• Check, verify, process, input and authorize trade transactions.
• Ensure accuracy of data input and registration of trade transactions.
• Perform data input and scanning of documents into the system.
• Track payments for outstanding bills and paid transactions.
• Receive tasks from Head – TSC or team leader as needed.

• Record receipt of documents in the Incoming Documents Register / Incoming Mail Register / Incoming Fax Register.
• Acknowledge receipt of Trade Services request (document) from customers / branches/other bank / other business unit.
• Check, verify, process, input and authorize trade transactions
• Ensure accuracy of data input and registration of trade transactions.
• To perform data input and scanning of documents into the system.
• Tracking payments of outstanding bills and paid transactions.
• Carry out any duties as may be assigned by Head – TSC or team leader from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Education/Qualification
• Tertiary Education in relevant equivalent disciplines with minimum CGPA 3.0 and above.
• Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of working experience related. Training will be provided for those without experience.
• Proficient in English (written & spoken) and PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office Appliances.
• Results-oriented, work effectively with diverse teams and strong interpersonal skills.
